The restaurant offered a wide selection of breakfast options and the hotel was conveniently close to a major science museum. Rewritten: This venue has a diverse breakfast menu and is conveniently located near a popular science museum.

All the staff is very friendly, helpful and always at your disposal, which made us feel like living in the family during these 10 days. Our room was on the yard side which was clean, confortable and calm. Also many restaurants, bakery and groceries in the surrounding.
The air condition did not function in our room.

The staff person at the desk during the day made our stay special! He was a young fellow, maybe early 30s, excellent sense of humour, very knowledegable about events in Paris and also honest about what he thought was worth doing, and what to avoid! Also, the bakeshop right across the street was open from 5h30 until midnight, and the bar/brasserie Le Cadre Noir across rue de Flandres and down was convenient, reasonably priced and had friendly service and good food.
Really, for the price, it was totally fine. People complaining about plain room decor and tiny elevators should stay at the Howard Johnson's rather than coming to Paris!

The staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We were lucky enough to have a free parking space at the back of the hotel, which was a huge bonus. The location was perfect, with shops nearby and easy access to public transportation. Plus, the rooms were a good size for the city.
That the toilet in the room was quite small. there was some noise from inside the hotel, such as the elevator and cleaning in the morning.

Könnte daran wohl kaum etwas Schlechtes finden.

The location is good and is very close to metro station thus convenient for commuting. Staff are polite but no tea making facility in the room and it is noisy if you need to open window particularly in summer because there is no air conditioning facility in the hotel. Wifi is ok in the room even on top floor but sometimes Internet connection is off.
Noisy and no air conditioning

This hotel in a crowded area was surprisingly well situated right beside the metro, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. The staff were friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The rooms were basic, but the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Additionally, the breakfast provided was satisfying, offering a variety of options.
No improvements needed, everything was fine.

Very clean and bright room/bathroom - it looks like the hotel has recently been updated. When the windows are closed, you can't hear any of the street noise. We drove to the hotel, and the staff was very helpful with providing parking. The hotel is not close to the major Paris tourist attractions, but a subway station is no more than 5 minutes away and it's very easy to get around. Great restaurants and markets within minutes of the hotel, which is extremely handy!
Website lists the hotel as allowing pets, but the hotel does not want them left in the room alone. The hotel worked with us on this issue, but that could have potentially been a big problem, as most tourist attractions won't allow animals. Also, there is some major construction taking place in front of the hotel (April 2011), which started by 0830 or 0900 every weekday. So if you're looking to sleep in, you may want to check as to whether or not there is still construction taking place.

Ideal as a base and perfect for what we needed. Rooms small, but as to be expected in a city hotel triple room. Plenty of storage space for bags and clothes. Little fridge which was handy. All the usual tea coffee etc. Bathroom roomy, clean, and lovely hot water. Friendly staff, handy near the metro, warm and comfortable. The location is right next to a metro station and a short walk from the canal, with great cafes and cinemas, as well as the Villette science museum. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast had "salty" food, which is far from common in France. When we had to leave a day earlier because our child got sick, the hotel did not charge the night. Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.
